This is a third-level university hospital in the departments of Huila, Caquetá, Putumayo, southern Tolima, and eastern Cauca, southern Colombia. The target population overseen in this institution is in the range of 2,300,000.
The donation consists of equipment for the neonatal intensive care unit to care for newborns with oxygen deprivation at birth. This unit takes care of approximately 75 newborns per month or 900 children per year.
Note: The total project value was £12,800. Of this amount, £8,600 was received in December 2024, and the remaining balance of £4,200 was transferred in January 2025.
