Fundación Colombiana de Leucemia y Linfoma is a non-profit foundation that supports children, youth, and adults with leukemia and lymphoma in Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
We were able to donate the necessary equipment to implement a comprehensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy program at the Colsubsidio Children's Clinic. The foundation provided and adapted the physical space, including the partitions and facilities required for its installation on the fifth floor, where children with these and other equally serious illnesses are hospitalized, requiring significant isolation during their long treatment.
The equipment includes psychomotor stimulation games, a speaker system and LED projector with a nebula effect, Swiss balls of different sizes, mats, a sensory balance game, cylinders, light ankle weights and light dumbbells, a stationary bicycle, a children's rowing machine, a mini trampoline, resistance bands, an agility ladder, training cones, balance platforms, and other items.
